How will you spend your day?

Engagement Managers (EMs) are Project Managers at ShellBlack. They are the leaders and the communications hub of any complex project. Their role is to ensure quality deliverables, foster project success, and mitigate risk. EMs must be well organized, proactive with documentation, level-headed, effective communicators, and have excellent people skills. They are responsible for tracking timelines, budget burn rates, and deviations to scope. They assign, coordinate, and monitor work items across multiple resources and workstreams. EMs must understand the technologies being leveraged at a high level to identify risks and present potential solutions to project stakeholders.
How will you spend your day?
- Creating quality client experiences through timely, well-planned, smoothly executed projects, which includes preparing agendas and project updates in advance of client meetings
- Lead or assist in high-level project estimation and release plan preparation
- Defining engagement scope and delivering against client business requirements
- Managing client relationships up to the executive level, and providing team oversight with internal and external project team members
- Maintaining proactive, ongoing communication with clients in order to review project timeline, scope management, and budget
- Promoting the ShellBlack culture of teamwork, respect, collaboration, knowledge sharing, accountability, and mutual interest in client success.
What do we look for in a consultant?
- Real-world experience with Salesforce
- Minimum three Salesforce certifications
- Prior consulting and project management experience
- Solid verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; executive-level presence and experience in facilitation
- Bachelor’s degree
- Financial services industry knowledge preferred
- Financial Services Cloud (FSC) experience preferred
